Study Abroad

Manhattan College offers numerous study abroad programs that give students the opportunity to have an enriching cultural experience. Students can choose to study abroad for a semester, an academic year, a month-long summer program or a two-week January intersession program.

Study abroad is open to students who have a general cumulative GPA of 2.75 (some programs require a 3.0 or above), have been enrolled at Manhattan College for two semesters and have not received any serious disciplinary sanctions. The student must receive a grade of C or better in their courses abroad to receive the earned credits.

Planning plays a big part in making a study abroad experience successful. Whether students have decided on a major or not, they should start planning in their freshman year. Students are encouraged to visit the study abroad office to discuss their study abroad options, as well as notify their academic adviser.
