JAMES PATRICK ABULENCIA received a B.S. degree in
chemical engineering from Manhattan College in 1997
and a Ph.D. degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Johns Hopkins
University
in 2003. He joined the department as an assistant professor in 2007.
The courses that Dr. Abulencia teaches include: Mass and Energy Balances, Intro to Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Computer-Aided Design and Simulation in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering Laboratory, and Unit Operations Laboratory. He is an active member of the American Society for Engineering Educattion (ASEE) as well as the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). Dr. Abulencia is faculty moderator of the student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers here at Manhattan.
