Robert Mauro holds a Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) from the Polytechnic
Institute of Brooklyn, and has been at Manhattan since 1973. He teaches
in the areas of multimedia, electronics, and digital systems, and has additional
interests in audio/video and consumer electronics. He is the author of
the textbook "Engineering Electronics" (Prentice-Hall 1989).
He enjoys electronic music, sing-alongs,
and camping.
Among other leisure activities he includes guitar, rock concerts,
car repair, and computers.
Dr. Mauro is co-founder of Amadeus Multimedia Technologies
located in Irvington, N.Y.
