Romeo Pascone holds Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees
in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T., Columbia University,
and the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
He teaches fiber optics communications, probability and random processes and electromagnetic
fields.
His research areas include applied magnetics and fiber optics,
and he has published a number of articles on magnetic resonance imaging
(M.R.I.) in professional journals and at technical conferences.
He is sometimes found in various athletic facilities in the city,
or in Manhattan's Draddy Gymnasium, engaging
in gymnastics or sports activities such as tennis, softball, or ping-pong.
He also enjoys skiing, and is an amateur student of history.
