505. Numerical Methods in Engineering.  Numerical methods for the solution of problems in mechanical  engineering; numerical solutions of linear and nonlinear boundary value problems in several dimensions; applications to various problems in mechanical engineering.  Three lectures. (Cr.3) 

Prerequisite:  Senior Status.

 

Course Objectives:

 

The student will be able to analyze engineering problems using a variety of analytical and numerical methods.
