513. Applied Heat Transfer.  Applications utilizing conduction, convection, radiation, and combined modes of heat transfer.  Heat transfer with phase change; analysis and design of extended surfaces; heat exchangers; heat pipes; solar collectors; electronic cooling; etc.  Three lectures.  (Cr.3) 

Prerequisite: Senior Status.

The student will be able to analyze applied heat transfer problems.
